We are currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planning Manager to join our team. This role involves coordinating all aspects of event planning from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and memorable guest experiences. The Event Planning Manager acts as the vital link between customers and hotel sales teams, providing direction and supervision during the preparation and execution of meetings, banquets, and special events. This position requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organizational skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Responsibilities include serving as a proactive liaison to group and catering clients by managing logistics such as group room blocks, food and beverage arrangements, venue space, and billing processes. The Event Planning Manager is also expected to be on-site during events to address any issues promptly and suggest solutions to enhance the guest experience. This hands-on role demands strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum two years of experience in hotel sales
- At least one year experience in food and beverage operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with hospitality sales CRM systems
- Ability to maintain professional conduct under pressure
