Job Description
Estiatorio Milos is a distinguished global hospitality brand renowned for its fine dining experience rooted in Mediterranean cuisine and Greek philoxenia, which means hospitality with love and kindness. Since its inception in Montreal in 1979, Estiatorio Milos has flourished into an international group with 12 locations worldwide, maintaining a commitment to excellence through quality ingredients, elegant design, and superior guest service. This restaurant group is dedicated to delivering more than just meals; it strives to create an immersive cultural experience that blends food, environment, and hospitality in a luxurious setting. With a rich tradition of culinary artistry and an emphasis on delivering memorable moments, Estiatorio Milos continues to expand its influence in the high-end hospitality sector by fostering strong community relationships and a passionate workforce.
The role of the Events Sales Manager at Estiatorio Milos is pivotal to continuing the brand's legacy of exemplary hospitality and client engagement. This position involves coordinating and overseeing events hosted both at the restaurant and off-site locations, including private dining, corporate functions, social gatherings, and other special occasions. As an ambassador of the Milos brand, the Events Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach, relationship building, and delivering compelling presentations of the restaurant's private dining capabilities and event offerings. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication, organizational, and hospitality skills to consult with clients, craft customized event proposals, and ensure flawless execution from planning to completion.
The Events Sales Manager works closely with culinary, beverage, and front-of-house teams to maintain the highest standards of fine dining service during events while managing logistics, room layouts, timelines, and vendor coordination. This role also requires leadership in supervising event and service staff, providing coaching and performance feedback to ensure consistent delivery of the Milos experience. Post-event follow-up and process improvement are critical elements of the position, enabling continuous enhancement of service quality and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with event management systems, such as Tripleseat, and reservation software, including OpenTable or SevenRooms, and possess the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously without compromising on quality or budget.
In return, Estiatorio Milos offers a competitive salary between $70,000 and $85,000 annually, plus commissions, reflecting the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The company values passion, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to success within a dynamic and collaborative work environment. This full-time position expects flexibility with work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Estiatorio Milos is an equal opportunity employer that emphasizes adherence to federal employment regulations and provides an inclusive workplace that supports career growth.
