Job Description

Thursday is a global IRL (in real life) dating movement that is revolutionizing the way people meet and connect offline. Operating in over 150 cities worldwide, Thursday has quickly become a household name featured in prestigious media outlets such as Forbes, the BBC, and Australia’s number one morning show. The company is on a mission to make dating fun again by organizing real-world social experiences that bring singles together in vibrant and engaging environments. This innovative approach replaces the typical digital dating apps with live events that foster genuine connections, encouraging people to put down their phones and engage face-to-face. With a strong presence on social media platforms, particularly Instagram through their handle @thursday, the company is dedicated to creating lively, memorable experiences for people looking to meet others in an authentic and relaxed setting. The company culture thrives on energy, extroversion, and community building, making it an ideal platform for individuals passionate about social events and networking.

The role of a Thursday Events Producer in Jacksonville, FL, is a freelance, commission-based position designed for highly organized, outgoing, and energetic individuals who excel at working a room and connecting with diverse groups of people. As a local Host, this role offers the opportunity to be the face of Thursday in the local community by organizing and hosting weekly social events that range from bar takeovers and rooftop mingles to wellness collaborations and fitness events. The goal is to create an inviting atmosphere that encourages singles to socialize and build real-life connections. Producers are responsible for sourcing and booking venues, promoting events via the local @thursday.cityname Instagram account, and maintaining high energy levels during events to ensure every guest has an outstanding experience. This role offers competitive commission earnings, with average monthly incomes of $3,000 to $4,000 USD, and top performers earning in excess of $10,000 USD per month. Full onboarding, access to marketing assets and a global support team are provided to ensure Hosts have the resources and guidance necessary to succeed and grow in their role. Additionally, high performing Hosts may earn exclusive invitations to international singles trips and have opportunities to move into full-time positions with the company. This position is more than a freelance gig — it’s a chance to be part of a larger movement transforming how people connect and date in the real world.
