Job Requirements

  • 5 plus years experience in event planning and coordination
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in quickly resolving issues requiring rapid turnaround
  • Must be proactive customer and results oriented
  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable interacting with people
  • Must be a U S citizen
  • Eligibility for access to classified information
  • Subject to U S government security investigation

Job Duties

  • Receive evaluate and coordinate event requests
  • Oversee aspects of event coordination and management for both internal and external events
  • Meet with clients to arrange event details including plans food entertainment staff and cleanup
  • Scout and book event locations
  • Determine logistical support such as audio visual facilities photography catering room speaker support
  • Facilitate guest and event operations including logistical and operational requirements
  • Maintain a contact database containing information for event participants and special guests
  • Support onsite events to ensure engagement and consistent communication
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports for OCOMM management and OCOMM customers
  • Directly interface with OCOMM management and OCOMM customers
