Job Qualifications
- Proven ability to plan, implement and oversee assigned conferences, events, and hotel room blocks
- Strong customer service orientation with a desire to satisfy client needs
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Experience mentoring or leading event staff
- Ability to manage high-profile accounts and complex events
- Capable of working effectively in a team setting
- Committed to follow-up and timely response to client inquiries
Job Duties
- Plan and execute all aspects of group sales bookings
- Act as liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff
- Administer sales agreements including food, beverage, and A/V details
- Manage room blocks, pick up, and billing instructions
- Serve as on-site contact for smooth event execution
- Host hotel tours and maintain customer relationships
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Event Managers and support staff
