Job Description

Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design (TICED) is a well-established hospitality company that has been creating exceptional dining and event experiences in South Florida since 1989. With over 30 years of expertise, TICED specializes in delivering customized and meticulously planned catered events across diverse venues, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings. The company prides itself on blending culinary artistry with creative event design to produce memorable occasions that leave lasting impressions on clients and guests alike. As a leader in the event catering industry, TICED fosters an environment of innovation, professionalism, and teamwork, aiming to provide top-tier service to all clients while adapting to evolving trends in event planning and hospitality.

The Event Producer role at TICED is a salaried position with an annual pay range of $45,000 to $55,000, supplemented by commissions and opportunities to earn additional pay by participating in parties after completing a probationary period. This position exists to support the Senior Event Producer and the Sales Team in selling, designing, and coordinating catered events. The successful candidate will engage in collaborative efforts with various internal teams and external vendors, requiring excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. The Event Producer will lead and motivate creative team members to meet specific goals, demanding exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Furthermore, the candidate must be a self-starter with a robust sense of responsibility and the capacity to operate independently under the direction of the company President.

This position includes a broad range of responsibilities such as client engagement, event planning, proposal preparation using industry-specific software like Caterese and All Seated, coordination of production elements (lighting, entertainment, design), managing tastings, overseeing contracts and payments, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure flawless event execution. The Event Producer also plays a vital role in maintaining client satisfaction through follow-ups and updates, as well as contributing to post-event assessments to continuously improve service delivery.

Key skills required include organizational proficiency to manage multiple event variables, strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary coordination, problem-solving abilities to address and resolve challenges during event execution, computer literacy in business applications, and social-emotional intelligence to foster cooperative working relationships. Additional responsibilities include brand representation at networking events, conferences, and bridal shows, administrative tasks, and upholding confidentiality. The role demands professionalism, commitment to workplace civility, and physical ability to occasionally lift items and travel as required.

Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design values diversity and equal opportunity in employment, providing an inclusive environment where all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of race, gender, age, or other protected statuses. This opportunity to join TICED as an Event Producer offers the chance to work with a reputable company in the vibrant South Florida hospitality industry, participate actively in event innovation, and develop a rewarding career in event production and management.
