Position: Sous Chef, Operations

About: The company is looking for motivated and engaged individuals to enhance the travel experience for all customers. Reporting to either the Executive Sous Chef or the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef, Operations plays a significant role in designing and preparing meals for airline customers, providing culinary expertise and leadership, ensuring quality food services, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. The position involves driving the food production effort with the support of Food Supervisors.

Requirements: Associates degree in the Culinary Arts or a Culinary Arts certification preferred; minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Chef and/or Sous Chef required; minimum 7 years of experience as a cook required; previous supervisory experience in a high-volume, manufacturing, food production, restaurant, or catering environment preferred; ability to cook meals according to detailed specifications; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; strong and effective leadership skills; ability to train others; excellent time management, organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills required; innovative mindset with the ability to make operational changes to improve performance; ServSafe Certified preferred; must have excellent written and oral communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
