As the next Director of Sales at Residence Inn Hartford Manchester, you will take on a critical leadership role that involves orchestrating sales and marketing efforts that bring in consistent revenue growth and strong market presence. Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • 4-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience or 2-year degree with 2 years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • Thorough experience with professional selling skills
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage and interact with diverse people
  • Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Cast creative spells to fill rooms, pump up revenue, and turn every team win into a celebration
  • Assemble, train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team ready to tackle challenges with enthusiasm
  • Build budgets, forecast revenue, and design marketing campaigns to boost hotel visibility and business
  • Conduct sales calls, host tours, and attend client meetings to build lasting relationships
