Founded in 2015, OVG manages a collection of seven world-class venues and provides services for iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. The organization's dedication to excellence and innovation has established OVG as a prominent player in the live entertainment industry, known for delivering exceptional experiences to patrons and partners alike. The Bushnell, located in Hartford, Connecticut, is one of the venues operated under the Oak View Group umbrella. It is a renowned performing arts center offering diverse programming that includes concerts, theatrical productions, and special events aimed at enriching the community's cultural landscape. Oak View Group’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion reflects its recognition that innovation and excellence are driven by diverse perspectives and inclusive environments. The company promotes a workplace culture where all voices are amplified and respected, supporting an equal opportunity employment philosophy that values veteran status, disability, race, religion, sex, age, and other protected classifications, thereby fostering a welcoming and supportive work environment. This Food & Beverage Manager position at The Bushnell is a full-time, regular employment opportunity with a competitive annual salary range between $70,000 and $75,000. It encompasses a broad, multi-faceted role focused on overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations within the performing arts center. The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing concessions, bars, premium hospitality areas, catering, and special event services to ensure high standards of guest service, operational excellence, and financial performance. This role works closely with culinary teams, operations staff, and event managers to execute seamless performances, private events, and community programs. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a background in hospitality management, preferably with 3-5 years in food and beverage operations in high-volume venues such as performing arts centers, stadiums, or convention centers. The manager will lead, recruit, and develop a diverse team while promoting a positive, inclusive service culture. Moreover, the position demands strong organizational skills, financial acumen in managing budgets and costs, and a commitment to compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. The Food & Beverage Manager will be instrumental in elevating the guest experience by ensuring cleanliness, food quality, prompt service, and adherence to operational standards. The role requires the flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Beyond operational responsibilities, this role involves collaborating with clients and leadership to enhance menu offerings, coordinate staffing and logistics for catered events, and monitor performance data to drive revenue growth. Oak View Group supports its full-time employees at The Bushnell with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching, and paid time off encompassing vacation, sick days, and recognized holidays. This position remains open until October 9, 2026, offering a significant opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to an esteemed venue while advancing their career in hospitality management within a dynamic, innovative company.
