Job Description

HHM Hotels is a renowned hospitality company with a strong commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences across its portfolio of properties. As a respected player in the hotel industry, HHM Hotels prides itself on providing high-quality accommodations, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming environment for both guests and employees. With a mission centered on integrity, excellence, and innovation, HHM Hotels continues to expand and innovate in the competitive hospitality market, ensuring that each hotel under its brand offers comfort, convenience, and value. The company embraces a culture that values people as its greatest asset, emphasizing service with heart, agility in operations, and a dedication to outstanding hospitality.

The Night Auditor role at HHM Hotels is a critical position that bridges guest service and financial operations within the front office of the hotel. This role involves balancing revenue and settling accounts every night to ensure accurate financial records and operational continuity. In addition to carrying out typical Guest Service Agent duties such as checking guests in and out and responding to inquiries, the Night Auditor is responsible for performing bookkeeping activities like conducting nightly audits and reconciling cashiers. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount as the Night Auditor keeps records of room availability and guest accounts manually and through computerized systems, inputs and updates financial data into the BRAINS network, and prepares daily reports. The auditor also manages credit card transactions, making sure all reconciliations and transmissions happen timely and flawlessly.

This position offers a unique blend of customer service and accounting responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in hospitality management or financial administration. The Night Auditor is expected to be proactive in resolving guest concerns, fostering guest satisfaction, and contributing to an efficient, positive hotel environment. Safety is also a priority, requiring the incumbent to practice safe work habits and use protective equipment as necessary. The role is full-time with opportunities for growth within the company, including advancement to Front Office Supervisor or Front Office Manager, or transition into accounts payable or receivable roles. HHM Hotels values its employees and provides comprehensive benefits designed to support health, wellbeing, and professional development. This position is ideal for candidates with prior training or experience in accounting or hotel night audit functions who possess strong computer and arithmetic skills and are eager to contribute to an exceptional guest experience and operational excellence.
