The Guest Experience Manager role at The Crescent Hotel in Fort Worth is a high-impact leadership position pivotal to the delivery of exceptional guest service. This individual oversees Guest Services, Valet, and Front Desk operations to ensure every guest interaction—from arrival to departure—is seamless, elevated, and intentionally crafted. As the face and rhythm of the hotel, the Guest Experience Manager is responsible for driving a culture of service excellence that balances the warmth of hospitality with the discipline of operational efficiency. This leader is charged with maximizing room revenue, productivity, and guest satisfaction by fostering confident and service-minded management teams and creating consistency across all shifts. Collaborating closely with internal departments, the manager ensures that the guest journey flows cohesively throughout the property.

Operating within the framework of Highgate Hotels’ standards and procedures, the Guest Experience Manager handles diverse responsibilities, including responding to guest requests and complaints, motivating and training staff, managing payroll and schedules, and maintaining operational integrity in billing and credit procedures. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain open lines of communication across departments and to uphold the hotel’s luxury brand standards. The manager also manages key operational systems such as the Front Office computer system and the PBX console, ensuring staff adherence to protocols. Job Requirements

  • Education level of two to four years degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum six years of progressive experience in hotel operations
  • Prior Front Office management experience

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum six years of progressive hotel operations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior Front Office management experience required
  • Experience with luxury or lifestyle hotel brands
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Job Duties

  • Respond to guests' requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline Guest Services personnel according to Highgate Hotel SOPs
  • Prepare and conduct interviews and hire Guest Services staff
  • Develop employee morale and ensure training of Guest Services personnel
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing daily status
  • Analyze rate variance and monitor credit reports
  • Participate in MOD program and prepare employee schedules
  • Ensure accurate billing and credit policies compliance
  • Maintain professional communication within departments
  • Operate Front Office computer systems and PBX console
  • Ensure staff greet guests warmly in accordance with SOPs
  • Assist in revenue and occupancy forecasting
  • Manage messaging, packages and mail delivery
  • Coordinate implementation of Highgate Hotel service philosophy
  • Handle cash, lost and found, and maintain key control system
  • Monitor VIPs and special guest requests
  • Review daily reports and logs
  • Attend monthly team meetings
  • Focus Guest Services on guest service and audit scores
