Job Description
Hiring a bar manager for a new wedding venue opening September 2026. https://www.thearborhouston.com/ Property has wedding venue + hotel with bar. Currently 150 weddings booked in the first year.
Bar Inventory Management
• Organize Bar
• Track Inventory
o Review Bars of upcoming events
o Place alcohol orders
o Put away alcohol order
o Batch Drinks for upcoming events
o Start loading the kegerator and fridges with backup beers, wines
o Track Glassware Counts
Clean and Organize
o Drain, clean ice machine
o Clean dishwasher
o Clean the bar/kitchen
o Clean under bar
o Clean beer cart
o Clean sinks & bleach sinks if they smell
o Clean kegerator
o Clean fridge
o Clean bar shelves
o Magic eraser the bar walls
o Make sure outdoor bar and cocktail tables are wiped down and clean
o Fold and put away towels & linens
Manage Bartender Team
o Train Bar Staff
o Schedule Bar Staff
o Bar Tally Sheets
o Operate Toast System
o Manage TABC compliance
o Manage Bar at events
▪ Coordinate and Delegate Duties

▪ Stocking Beer, Wine, Ice, NA's
▪ Making Batches
▪ Buss Glasses
▪ Wash Glasses
▪ Check on Restrooms for cleanliness, paper towels, and toilet paper
