The role of Mechanical and Controls Maintenance Manager at Universal Kids Resort is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the mechanical, controls, and animation maintenance of all attractions, shows, and water play areas within the theme park. This position involves managing routine, capital, and expense budgets while setting the direction and priorities for all ride and show maintenance functions. The manager will lead the team in maintaining operational readiness and show quality through preventative and predictive maintenance programs that comply with OEM specifications. They will also oversee system and component design modifications and coordinate activities related to attraction additions or changes, including working with outside vendors and construction teams.

The role demands a strategic approach to ensuring guest and Team Member safety across all venues, administering safety programs, and developing training plans tailored to the specific needs of the maintenance area.
