This full-time, non-management position is tailored for candidates with hands-on experience in hotel engineering and maintenance, aimed at promptly addressing guest repair requests and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure seamless hotel operations. As an Engineer II, the individual will be the front line in responding to maintenance issues with minimal supervision, directly communicating with guests and customers to resolve problems efficiently. This role demands a broad array of technical skills, encompassing air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical work, mechanical repairs, plumbing, and various building management systems. The engineer must demonstrate proficiency in safely using hand and power tools while maintaining and repairing equipment, machines, and guestroom items.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing pumps, motors, plumbing fixtures, electrical devices, and kitchen equipment. The Engineer II will also perform routine tasks such as programming TVs, replacing light bulbs and air conditioning filters, and assisting with painting, drywall, and wood trim repairs. Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout safety procedures and engineering computer programs for preventive maintenance and energy management is essential. Moreover, the role involves performing mid-level troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
