With a reputation for excellence, the team at Restaurant Degoyler is dedicated to providing guests with carefully crafted cuisine and attentive service, making every meal an event to remember. Their culinary operations reflect a commitment to creativity, standards, and efficiency, positions that echo the tastes and expectations of a discerning clientele.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our reputable culinary team. This full-time role carries an hourly pay rate based on experience and provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, garden-inspired environment. The Kitchen Supervisor will serve as a critical point of leadership within the culinary and Point of Purchase (POP) teams, supporting the Executive Chef by overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring seamless food service for both the restaurant and catering events. The position requires expertise in managing high-volume food preparation, inventory coordination, team development, and event execution.
As the Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day culinary operations from 11 am to 4 pm seven days per week, managing the kitchen team, assisting with ordering supplies, and contributing to the menu development process. Your leadership will be instrumental in training new employees and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You will act as the onsite supervisor during all food service times, ensuring all meal components meet the established recipe guidelines and BEO requirements, and you will be fully involved in event preparation, setup, breakdown, and post-event administration such as inputting payroll and updating inventory records.
This role demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. In addition to operational duties, the Kitchen Supervisor promotes a positive, cooperative, and efficient workplace culture by embodying core values like business acumen, dedication, ethics, safety, teamwork, and adaptability. This is an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who are eager to grow their leadership skills and contribute to a celebrated restaurant and event venue that values innovation, inclusivity, and high standards.
