The Residence Inn in West Springfield, MA, is currently seeking a dedicated Front Office Agent to join their team. This is an hourly position that plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service from check-in through checkout. The Front Office Agent is responsible for handling guest inquiries related to local dining, transportation, and entertainment, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. The role requires familiarity with hotel rates, packages, promotions, and in-house group activities. Key responsibilities include managing reservations, understanding hospitality terminology and emergency procedures, and proficient use of the front desk computer system. Additionally, the Front Office Agent must complete shift checklists, balance cash and paperwork, maintain promotional programs, and assist guests with safe deposit boxes. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hospitality or a related field, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Maintaining a professional appearance, adherence to Highgate hotel standards, and a service-oriented attitude are essential. Job Duties

  • Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment
