The role of Service Manager is a crucial leadership position based out of the Agawam, MA branch. This role requires an individual passionate about operational excellence and team leadership, tasked with managing a dedicated service team that delivers expert pest control and related services to both residential and commercial clients. The Service Manager’s primary responsibilities include overseeing service delivery quality, managing fleet operations, driving sales within the service team, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction throughout all engagements. As a Service Manager at Waltham Pest Services, you will lead a motivated group of frontline colleagues by providing hands-on management and mentoring to enhance their skills and performance. You will be responsible for scheduling and routing optimization to maximize team efficiency, guiding technicians in resolving client issues, and maintaining stellar service standards to meet or exceed customer expectations. The role demands experience in managing service teams within fast-paced environments, a solid background in managing both commercial and residential client interactions, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks including quality site inspections, inventory management, and document oversight. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Willingness to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding employment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a service-based industry
  • Experience managing both direct and indirect reports
  • Ability to build teams and foster long-term, profitable relationships
  • Creative thinking skills
  • Experience interacting with commercial and residential clients
  • Knowledge of pest control or related service industries preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Job Duties
