Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, finance or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years supervisory or management experience in GSE maintenance or equivalent vehicle maintenance
- Relevant military experience is welcome
- Technical background in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical systems is a plus
- Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects requiring communication, organization and problem solving
- Customer focused mindset internal and external
- Proficient computer literacy including maintenance tools
Job Qualifications

- Computer literacy including familiarity with computer aided maintenance tools
Job Duties
- Definition of the maintenance strategy including outsourcing definition, partner selection and negotiation
- Definition of the optimal organizational structure with required roles and staffing levels
- Management of human resources including promotions, performance tracking, pay and incentives, training, and succession planning
- Build best in class operations processes to support business requirements and optimize efficiency
- Baseline and improve processes related to equipment budgets, acquisition, repairs, maintenance, and disposal
- Provide expertise in fleet and capital equipment sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management
- P&L responsibility including budgeting and strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements and Swissport standards
- Partner with regional teams to develop tailored strategies for profitability
- Ensure maintenance of all Ground Service Equipment
- Ensure adequate resources for safe operations
- Oversee the proper operation of safety devices and equipment by trained personnel
- Enforce safety rules among employees, contractors, and visitors
- Lead quality, health, safety, and environmental activities to reduce injuries and damages
