We are currently seeking dedicated and mission-minded Events and Ministry Coordinators who share a passion for connecting people and enhancing community life through well-planned social activities and genuine caring. This is a volunteer position, not paid, offering a chance to contribute meaningfully within an apartment community. Coordinators typically commit approximately 8 hours per week, mainly during evenings and weekends when most residents are home. The role involves planning at least one event per month that aims to connect residents, foster relationships, and introduce them to local services and businesses, enriching their community ties and overall living experience. Coordinators also engage in personal outreach, including visiting new residents shortly after they move in, and supporting staff and volunteers to maximize the impact of their outreach efforts.

Additional responsibilities include managing event budgets, preparing marketing materials such as social media posts, flyers, and monthly calendars, and working closely with property management and program directors for strategic planning and development. The position requires a highly relational individual who enjoys meeting new people, organizing social activities, and demonstrating God’s unconditional love through acts of care and hospitality. Ideal candidates will possess basic English fluency for communication, hold a valid driver’s license and insurance, and have reliable transportation to fulfill various duties including shopping for event supplies and meeting with community partners. Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting up to 25 pounds is also important due to the active nature of the role.
