Job Requirements
- minimum of 5 years of progressive hotel management experience
- previous successful hotel management leadership
- financial acumen to understand and work with financial data
- bachelor's degree or extensive relevant work experience
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- prior leadership in direct sales with significant revenue impact
- valid driver's license
- exceptional time management and multitasking skills
- customer focus and commitment to satisfaction
- physically able to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, and squat for extended periods
- willingness to travel occasionally
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or extensive relevant work experience
- minimum of 5 years progressive hotel management experience
- proven successful leadership in team and guest service management
- financial acumen to interpret financial data
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- effective listening and problem-solving abilities
- prior leadership in direct sales producing at least 50 percent market mix of total revenues
- valid driver's license
- exceptional time management and multitasking skills
- strong customer focus and commitment to employee and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- lead property revenue generation through sales and marketing efforts
- maintain strong knowledge of and relationships in the local market
- manage relationships with hotel vendors and negotiate service agreements
- review financial reports and statements to assess performance and develop improvement strategies
- coach and support hotel team on managing occupancy, rates, wages, and expenses
- manage costs including supplies, labor, utilities, food, and beverage
- ensure ongoing training and development for team members
- establish and maintain collaborative relationships with staff
- actively solicit and respond to team member feedback
- hire functional and creative team members
- observe and provide feedback on service behaviors
- analyze guest feedback and develop solutions
- regularly interface with customers for feedback
- ensure building maintenance and operational areas meet guest expectations
- administer policies fairly and consistently
- evaluate and recognize team member performance
- ensure franchise standards and safety protocols are met
