This overtime eligible managerial role involves not only supervising the front desk team but also actively engaging in guest relations, operational processes, problem-solving, and revenue management. The Front Desk Manager OEM acts as the frontline ambassador for the hotel, ensuring every guest is greeted warmly and that check-in and check-out procedures are efficient and accurate. This role requires strong leadership skills to motivate and coach a customer service team, maintaining high standards and smooth procedures while fostering a positive work environment. The manager will also be responsible for anticipating and resolving issues, maximizing occupancy and revenue through strategic rate management, and facilitating clear communication across teams and with guests. Ideal candidates are experienced hospitality professionals with proven supervisory skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. They must demonstrate proficiency in operational technology and remain composed under pressure. Job Requirements
- 2 year college degree with 3 or more years of related experience or a 4 year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field with supervisory experience
- proficient in Windows operating systems spreadsheets and word processing
- effective in handling stressful high pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity
- valid driver’s license from the applicable state
