We are currently seeking an experienced and energetic Business Travel Sales Manager to join our high-performing team. This role is designed for a dynamic individual who excels in business travel sales, including local and national account development, consortia program management, proactive market analysis, and sales strategies. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Business Travel Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by securing new business and maintaining strong client relationships. This position requires a personable and professional individual capable of delivering persuasive sales presentations, conducting client meetings, and representing the hotel at trade shows and industry events. You will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of client solicitation and account management are meticulously handled, collaborating with various departments to service accounts effectively, and providing regular progress reports. The role offers a salary range of $105,000 to $109,000 annually, based on a 45-hour work week, depending on factors such as experience, education, and work location. Job Duties
- Manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded
- Concentrate in business travel sales including local and national account development
- Manage consortia programs and conduct ongoing market analysis
- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel orally and in written form to clients
- Handle account details ensuring solicitation and closing are complete and documented
- Coordinate departmental participation in servicing accounts
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly progress updates
- Develop and conduct persuasive sales presentations
- Travel for outside calls, promotion, and competitor reviews
- Prepare information for and meet with clients
- Represent the hotel at trade shows and set up exhibits
- Communicate clearly with staff regarding account maintenance
- Comply with attendance rules and perform other job-related duties as assigned
