The role of Senior Sales Executive at the Sheraton San Diego Resort & Marina is a critical one, calling for a dynamic professional who can both identify and solicit qualified target accounts as well as nurture existing ones to successfully close group business. With a salary range from $90,000 to $110,000 annually plus quarterly bonus eligibility based on performance, this position balances competitive compensation with performance incentives. The Senior Sales Executive’s role is not just about selling but about embodying the company’s mission, vision, and goals while contributing meaningfully to the hotel’s overall financial success by achieving or exceeding individual sales targets.

This role demands exceptional hospitality sales skills, including the ability to quickly identify clients’ primary buying criteria and tailor solutions effectively. Creativity is paramount when devising client approaches, crafting compelling proposals, conducting impressive site inspections, and ultimately closing business deals. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required to maintain consistent follow-up and to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Performance standards are high, and there is a strong emphasis on proactive and positive engagement with the market. Leadership capabilities and the ability to work cohesively across departments are crucial to fostering a productive and engaged team environment. The Senior Sales Executive will maintain confidentiality and sensitive information, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and must possess the physical ability to handle tasks involving frequent pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Overall, the Senior Sales Executive at the Sheraton San Diego Resort & Marina plays a pivotal role in driving revenue through strategic sales efforts, maintaining strong client partnerships, and representing the resort’s prestigious brand in the competitive hospitality market.
