The Fundraising Associate position at RTC is a vital role contributing significantly to the organization’s fundraising success and long-term financial sustainability. This role is a key member of the Major Gifts team and supports the fundraising strategy by strengthening donor pipelines, coordinating grant proposals and reports, enhancing corporate sponsorship programs, and conducting prospect research. The position is designed for a professional with strong organizational, communication, and project management skills who is passionate about nonprofit fundraising and fostering lasting donor relationships.\n\nThe Fundraising Associate’s responsibilities include managing relationships with foundations and corporate partners, developing compelling funding proposals, processing grant reports, building sponsorship packages, and supporting major donor initiatives. This role requires collaboration across departments and direct support to senior leadership and program staff. The candidate will help build infrastructure and tools needed to meet ambitious fundraising goals, ensuring effective donor stewardship and engagement. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Development and does not have supervisory duties.\n\nEligible for remote/hybrid work arrangements and based at the Washington, D.C. National Headquarters, this role may require occasional local travel for donor meetings, events, and other organizational purposes.
