As a Bartender at Red Lobster, you will be the welcoming face to guests, greeting them warmly as they are seated. Your role is essential in preparing the bar for service, which includes setting up pour stations and glassware before opening, and ensuring a steady supply of beverages, mixes, and garnishes during your shift. You will suggest drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the guest experience while meticulously preparing beverages according to standardized recipes, using the appropriate glassware and garnishes. Accuracy in taking and entering food and drink orders into the POS system is critical, alongside attentive customer service that includes offering refills and promptly clearing unused items. You will handle timely delivery and settlement of guest checks, thank customers sincerely, and invite them to return. Adherence to all food safety regulations is a must. This role requires standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely. Being a team player with attention to detail and multitasking skills is key to success. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capability to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers and greet them with a smile when seated
  • Prepare the bar including pour stations and glassware before opening and limited replenishment of drinks, mixes, and garnishes as needed
  • Suggest sales of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • Prepare all drinks according to standard using the recipe, glassware, and garnish
  • Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
  • Ensure customers are well attended, offer drink refills and remove any unused items
  • Deliver and settle the bill in a timely manner, thank customers and invite them to return
  • Comply with all food safety regulations
