The Bartender role at The Brigantine is integral to ensuring this standard of excellence is maintained. This position primarily involves delivering exceptional hospitality to bar guests by mixing, garnishing, and serving beverages according to company specifications for patrons at both the bar and in the restaurant. Beyond beverage preparation, the Bartender is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bar area to operate smoothly and uphold health standards. The role demands proactive customer engagement, keen attention to detail in beverage preparation, and adherence to all sanitation and alcohol control policies, creating a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.

Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to pour and serve alcohol
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time
- Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs)
- Minimum 1+ years’ bartending experience in a full-service restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
- Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exhibit professional appearance and mannerisms
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Food Handler Certification

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years’ bartending experience in a full-service restaurant (liquor, beer, & wine)
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages consistently adhering to all recipe standards
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed guest service expectations
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, with the ability to answer questions and make suggestions
- Take orders, serve bar patrons, and process payment
- Keep designated service stations clean and organized
- Restock and replenish bar inventory
- Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems
- Conclude the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return
- Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift
