Job Description

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is a prominent multi-brand restaurant operator dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences across the United States. Founded in 2012, DRG has evolved from managing 30 Taco Bell units into a thriving enterprise boasting over 300 locations, including Taco Bell and Arby's franchises. With operations spanning California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, and Alaska, DRG is home to more than 6,000 team members who embody its people-first culture and commitment to excellence. The company prides itself on maintaining the warmth and camaraderie of a small business while leveraging the resources and scale of a major operator, fostering an environment where every employee is valued as a vital part of the DRG family.

As a Bartender at DRG, you will play an integral role in delivering memorable and personalized service to every guest. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and comprehensive knowledge of beverage options will combine to create unique experiences that guests cannot find elsewhere. This position is not just about mixing drinks but involves contributing to the overall brand reputation and customer loyalty through exceptional service and a friendly demeanor. Your responsibilities will extend beyond drink preparation to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment both behind the bar and in adjacent seating areas.

The Bartender role is full-time with non-exempt status, demanding flexibility in scheduling to meet the dynamic needs of a fast-paced restaurant setting. You will be expected to uphold all company policies, including food safety protocols and the Responsible Alcohol Service Policy, ensuring guests are served responsibly and in compliance with legal regulations. Checking guests' IDs carefully to confirm legal drinking age is a fundamental part of your duty. Additionally, your punctuality, professional appearance, and dependable work habits will contribute significantly to the team’s success.

This opportunity offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. DRG cares deeply about its employees, offering programs such as the DRG Cares Grant Program to assist with financial challenges, an Employee Assistance Program providing counseling and legal support, and education benefits including GED reimbursement and free second language education. Employees can also take advantage of the DailyPay program for improved financial flexibility and participate in scholarship and referral programs.

Joining DRG means embracing a set of leadership behaviors centered around customer focus, ethical values, active listening, and a proactive mindset. The successful candidate will thrive in a team environment, building strong relationships with coworkers, guests, and vendors alike. As a Bartender, you will be a key ambassador of the DRG brand, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression and a desire to return. Your role is both challenging and rewarding, requiring a blend of technical skills and interpersonal talents to succeed within this vibrant hospitality group.
