Position: Sous Chef job
About: Bluebird, the French bistro in Chapel Hill, renowned for winning Best New Restaurant 2022 by N&O readers and Best New Restaurant in Orange County by Indyweek, and receiving multiple ‘Best Of’ awards from Chapel Hill Magazine, is looking for a strong Sous Chef.
Requirements: High school diploma/GED required; multiple years of service experience in fine dining or casual fine dining; proficiency with Point-of-Sale software; able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment; capable of multitasking under extreme pressure; ability to work on feet for ten hours a shift; ability to lift and carry 50 pounds at a time; ability to lift 25 pounds overhead onto high shelves; excellent written and verbal communication skills; willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
