Position: Master Cook, Pastry – On Call
About: The Fontainebleau Las Vegas is looking for a Master Cook, Pastry to assist all chefs in the pastry department and support various outlets across the resort. The role involves daily preparation of baked goods and pastries for food and beverage outlets and banquets.
Requirements: Pastry or Baking Degree or equivalent certification is preferred; Extensive experience as a Pastry Cook or Pastry Chef, with a strong track record of pastry excellence; Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in a pastry kitchen environment; In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and dessert flavor profiles; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail; Strong organizational and time management skills; Creativity and passion for pastry innovation; Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards; Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends; Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
