Job Description

Coral Gables is currently seeking a Part-Time Guest Services Representative to join their dedicated team at the Coral Gables Adult Activity Center. This part-time role ranges from 15 to 29 hours per week and is ideal for an individual inspired by interesting challenges in a well-established yet evolving community environment. The selected professional will be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer service to program and facility guests, ensuring that visitors have a positive and welcoming experience at the facility. Responsibilities include responding to needs or requests of facility patrons promptly and efficiently, answering multi-line phones professionally, escorting guests throughout the facility, and handling cash transactions accurately.
The role also involves preparing and serving food, setting up rooms for rentals, and assisting with special events, making it a multifaceted position perfect for someone who thrives in a versatile service-oriented setting. Coral Gables values staff who demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor. Candidates must be at least 17 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have some customer service experience. Previous cash handling experience and certification in first aid and CPR courses are preferred, reflecting the City's commitment to safety and professionalism.
