Job Description
Baptist Health is the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in the region, serving the communities of Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. With an extensive network that includes 12 hospitals, over 29,000 employees, 4,500 physicians, and 200 outpatient centers, urgent care facilities, and physician practices, Baptist Health stands as a comprehensive provider dedicated to delivering exceptional medical care. The organization is recognized for its internationally acclaimed centers of excellence in cancer, cardiovascular care, orthopedics and sports medicine, and neurosciences. Supported by philanthropy and guided by a faith-based mission, Baptist Health has consistently upheld its commitment to medical excellence for over 25 years.
This commitment has been acknowledged repeatedly, as evidenced by the organization’s placement on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For and the 2024-2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital Rankings, where Baptist Health emerged as the most awarded healthcare system in South Florida with 45 high-performing honors. Beyond its clinical achievements, Baptist Health fosters a culture centered around personal connections. The healthcare system values relationships with colleagues and patients alike, recognizing the shared experiences that inspire compassion and dedication to quality care. Each team member at Baptist Health plays a vital role in making a positive impact, embodying a culture of purpose and a holistic approach to healthcare that extends beyond medical treatments.
The role of Concierge Coordinator within Baptist Health’s Concierge Medicine program is a vital position that enhances the patient experience by providing personalized service and seamless coordination. This role acts as an essential liaison between patients, physicians, and clinical teams, ensuring that each concierge patient receives an exceptional, tailored healthcare journey. The Concierge Coordinator manages the entire patient lifecycle, from onboarding new members to supporting retention efforts and executing service recovery initiatives designed to maintain high standards of patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities in this role include coordinating communication and operations between multiple departments, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient needs with efficiency and empathy. The role demands someone who is not only adept at managing logistics but also possesses excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset. The successful candidate must navigate complex systems such as electronic medical records (EMR) and patient relationship management tools with proficiency while maintaining strict adherence to patient privacy protocols and HIPAA regulations.
The Concierge Coordinator position requires a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare, concierge services, or patient relations. Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams are essential. The ability to exercise sound judgment independently under pressure further distinguishes ideal candidates. Working at Baptist Health means becoming part of a highly respected healthcare system driven by purpose, compassion, and a commitment to excellence, where each team member’s contributions help nurture a supportive environment that improves patient outcomes and satisfaction.
