Job Requirements

- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate golf carts safely
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as a PRN employee

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in customer service or patient transportation preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Knowledge of safety procedures and traffic regulations within hospital campuses
- Ability to follow policies and procedures strictly
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Appropriately greets each patient and/or visitor and deliver excellent customer service
- Maintains a daily safety checklist prior to driving the golf cart to ensure safety features are in working order
- Follows through with requests for transportation in a timely fashion
- Transports guests from one destination to another on hospital campus
- Maintains proper usage of Security radio so driver can be contacted regarding a pick-up/drop-off
- Makes rounds on campus and in the parking garages every 5-10 minutes not exceeding the 5mph speed limit and obeying all traffic regulations
- Assists in maintaining the professional appearance of equipment and carts by keeping them clean and free of trash
