Currently, InterSolutions is seeking a motivated Bilingual Apartment Leasing Consultant to support one of its property management partners located in Miami Gardens, FL. The position involves working directly with prospective and current residents, providing guidance throughout the leasing process to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience. The Leasing Consultant will report to the property manager and play a crucial role in maintaining resident satisfaction and retention.
The Bilingual Apartment Leasing Consultant is responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting tours, and determining their housing needs and preferences. This person will assist new residents with leasing paperwork, which includes applications, lease agreements, and conducting employment and credit checks. Collecting security deposits, rent, and other charges related to move-ins will also be part of the role. Communicating lease terms and community policies clearly to new and existing residents is essential for fostering a transparent living environment.
Another key aspect of the role is following up on leads and prospects who have not yet leased, ensuring no opportunity to secure residents is missed. The Leasing Consultant must also ensure apartments are move-in ready by performing inspections and adding last-minute touches when appropriate. Using creative marketing techniques to attract new residents and managing the lease renewal process alongside retention efforts form a critical part of the job responsibilities. Timely response to calls, emails, and inquiries is necessary to maintain high standards of customer service.
Ideal candidates for this position bring relevant experience from leasing, customer service, sales, real estate, hospitality, or retail sectors. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a requirement to effectively communicate with a diverse range of residents and prospects. Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is expected, with additional knowledge of leasing software platforms like Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, and MRI seen as a plus. Flexibility to work weekends as needed is also required to accommodate the business needs of the property management partner.
