The Fire Society is dedicated to providing top-tier service standards, creative event solutions, and memorable experiences for a diverse clientele including luxury venues, private residences, and high-end corporate events. This company thrives on professionalism, operational excellence, and fostering a positive workplace environment. They value inclusion and diversity, striving to create an environment where different perspectives are embraced and contribute to the success of the organization.

The Front-of-House Event Manager position at Foxtail Catering & Events is a full-time leadership role with a reported base salary ranging from $75,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience. Key responsibilities include overseeing onsite event execution from setup through breakdown, leading and mentoring front-of-house staff including Floor Managers and Bar Leads, and ensuring adherence to company service standards across all events. The Event Manager acts as the company’s primary representative at events, managing communication with clients, vendors, and venue partners. They coordinate closely with culinary teams to guarantee the smooth flow of service and overall event success. Beyond direct event leadership, the role includes participating in administrative duties such as creating and managing event documentation, reviewing staffing plans, conducting pre-service meetings, and supporting operational initiatives to improve performance and growth.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in luxury or fine dining hospitality, catering, or event operations. They should thrive under pressure, maintain professionalism at all times, and exhibit strong decision-making and organizational skills. Certifications required include a valid California Food Manager Certification, Responsible Beverage Service certification, and a valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle insurance. Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish and those with experience in Michelin-level service environments or knowledge of San Francisco venues are preferred.

Foxtail Catering & Events offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee well-being and growth. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick leave, 401k with company matching, commuter benefits, gym reimbursement, dress code discounts, and reimbursements for required certifications.
