Job Description

We are a dynamic event planning organization based in Bakersfield, CA, dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences through meticulously planned events, trade shows, and festivals. With a strong reputation for coordinating large-scale outdoor events, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, innovation, and seamless execution. Our team works closely with local agencies, vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors to create memorable events that engage and delight attendees while supporting industry growth and community connections.

We are currently seeking an experienced Event Planner / Event Producer to join our team. This role is pivotal in orchestrating every aspect of our events – from initial concept development to the final execution. The Event Planner / Producer will be responsible for managing logistics, coordinating vendors and exhibitors, securing permits, and ensuring that all operational components align smoothly to create a high-quality experience for attendees, sponsors, and industry partners. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20 to $25 and is designed as a part-time role, requiring 20 to 30 hours per week. The work location is hybrid remote based in Bakersfield, CA, offering flexibility alongside the need for onsite presence when necessary.

The ideal candidate brings 3 to 5-plus years of proven experience in event planning or festival production, particularly with large outdoor events or trade shows. Strong organizational and project management skills are essential, as the role demands the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders, timelines, and logistics efficiently. Communication skills must be excellent to facilitate smooth interactions with sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and local agencies. Additionally, the candidate must be adept at troubleshooting in real time to maintain seamless event operations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, managing insurance requirements, and coordinating volunteer and staffing efforts. The capacity to travel within California is required to oversee event sites and collaborate with partners.

Joining our team means contributing to vibrant community events that showcase the best in industry collaboration and public engagement. If you are passionate about event production, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are committed to excellence, we invite you to apply and help us create unforgettable experiences that resonate long after the event concludes. This position offers not only a rewarding career path but also opportunities for professional growth within a supportive and innovative organization.
