Job Description
Celebrations Speech Group Inc. is a distinguished organization dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based services in educational and clinical settings. With a mission centered on helping individuals of all ages achieve their highest potential, Celebrations Speech Group specializes in special education and therapy services. Operating through both schools and four brick-and-mortar clinics, the company offers comprehensive support tailored to meet each person's unique needs. The organization prides itself on a culture of collaboration, empathy, and continuous development that fosters a supportive environment for both staff and the individuals they serve.
The CSG Foundation, an integral part of Celebrations Speech Group, is committed to removing financial barriers to essential therapeutic services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, and educational support. The Foundation raises funds to expand access to care, invest in the next generation of providers, and increase public awareness about the impact of these critical services on quality of life. Its events include prestigious black-tie galas, donor receptions, and internal celebrations, all executed with meticulous professionalism combining aesthetic excellence with measurable outcomes.
The Event Planner and Fundraiser position at Celebrations Speech Group is a full-time, hybrid role responsible for spearheading the planning and execution of both Foundation initiatives and company-wide events. This role is crucial in advancing the organization’s mission by managing fundraising galas, donor cultivation events, appreciation receptions, awareness campaigns, professional development gatherings, staff appreciation events, and milestone celebrations.
The successful candidate will bring at least five years of professional event planning experience, with a minimum of three years focused on fundraising galas or donor events. They will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, an elevated design sensibility, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role requires collaboration with executive leadership, the CSG Foundation Board, and internal teams to ensure every event aligns with brand standards, fundraising goals, and organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing detailed event plans, budgets, and timelines; sourcing and managing vendors; coordinating event logistics and guest experience; and ensuring seamless event execution from start to finish. The Event Planner and Fundraiser will also develop sponsorship packages, implement effective fundraising mechanisms such as silent auctions and live appeals, and track event performance and return on investment. Communication and collaboration across marketing, internal departments, and board members will be essential to promote consistent branding and clear event objectives.
Compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $68,640 to $80,000 annually depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; retirement plans; paid sick leave and paid time off; employee discount perks covering travel, childcare, education, and more; an Employee Assistance Program; and continuing education reimbursement. The hybrid work arrangement offers flexible work-from-home options, reflecting the organization's commitment to work-life balance.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization that directly impacts lives through therapeutic services. Candidates passionate about high-end event production and successful fundraising strategies will find this role both challenging and rewarding. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a resume along with examples of past high-end fundraising events, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
