The role of Event Sales Specialist on the Core team at Lucky Strike Fresno involves managing the entire sales cycle for diverse group events including corporate outings, social gatherings, and organizational functions, catering to groups ranging from 13 to 100 guests. This hybrid position emphasizes both inbound and outbound sales efforts; you will build a robust sales pipeline by proactively managing your territory and cultivating lasting relationships that encourage repeat business. The role demands a high level of professionalism as Lucky Strike operates a camera-first policy for video communications to maintain a polished and brand-reflective presence with clients and internal teams.

As an Event Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for handling leads, matching groups with appropriate venues and packages, and maintaining a high volume of event management without compromising details. Your outreach will focus on developing new business accounts in the local community as well as nurturing existing clients to increase bookings. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $31.25 per hour plus 1-3% commission with a tiered structure incentivizing strong performance. You will have opportunities to lead Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and collaborate closely with venue operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.

This role requires flexibility to work during peak times such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the busiest events and maximize client satisfaction. Ideal candidates will possess experience in sales, hospitality, or event planning, with a proven ability to manage multiple event projects simultaneously. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, alongside a willingness to embrace coaching and feedback for continuous improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and event management software like GEMS will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in sales, hospitality, or event planning

Job Duties

  • Handle inbound leads and outbound outreach for groups of 13 up to 100 guests across corporate, social, and organizational events
  • own the full booking cycle from first contact through signed contract
  • match every group to the right venue, package, and experience for their needs and budget
  • work high volume across multiple event types without letting anything fall through the cracks
  • own all local business outreach in your territory by building relationships with companies, organizations, and community groups
  • prospect, develop, and grow new accounts to consistently build pipeline beyond inbound leads
  • work toward a quarterly quota paid monthly on a tiered basis
  • lead BEO meetings for your events and partner with venue ops teams to ensure seamless execution from contract to celebration
