The organization upholds high standards of professionalism, innovation, and collaboration in every facet of its operations to maintain its status as a leader in the sports industry.

The Event Planner position at the San Diego Padres presents an exceptional opportunity to play a crucial role within this world-class sports and entertainment ecosystem. This full-time role reports directly to the Senior Director of Special Events and is focused on the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of various event types hosted across renowned venues, including Petco Park, The Rady Shell, and EVE. You will have the chance to work on a broad spectrum of events, many of which require innovative solutions to creatively utilize non-traditional spaces within the venues. Excellence in client communication, problem-solving aptitude, and vendor negotiation skills are critical to successfully fulfilling this role. The Padres value professional growth and take pride in supporting employee wellbeing, offering a competitive salary range reflective of experience along with a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans with employer match, paid time off, employee perks such as tickets to games, onsite services, and flexible work arrangements during the off-season. The organization promotes a smart casual work environment, making this role appealing to professionals eager to build a rewarding career in sports event management with a respected Major League Baseball team.
