The role offered is for an experienced Audio/Visual (A/V) Event Technician who will play a critical part in ensuring seamless event production and support. This role requires an individual capable of managing and supporting a range of events—from large external gatherings with 300-plus attendees to smaller internal meetings—in a fast-paced corporate environment. The A/V technician will collaborate with various stakeholders to fulfill specific technology needs, conduct daily inspections of conference rooms and presentation spaces, and operate a wide array of advanced A/V equipment including Yamaha mixers, Tricaster systems, ETC lightboards, Zoom, and Google Meet platforms. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting A/V and network issues impacting event performance, maintaining accurate technical documentation such as runbooks and troubleshooting guides, providing end-user training, and devising quick solutions during live events. The technician will oversee event production inventory and storage areas to ensure all equipment is organized and ready for use.
Candidates must have a minimum of three years’ experience supporting corporate live events, conference centers, or hotel A/V services. Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, strong problem-solving capabilities, flexibility to support occasional night and weekend events, and proficiency with event production technology and collaboration software form the core skill set. - Effective communication skills and familiarity with presentation and media editing tools such as Keynote, PowerPoint, Photoshop
