The role of Event Manager involves comprehensive responsibilities centered on overseeing every aspect of event planning and execution. The Event Manager acts as the primary liaison between clients and the company post-booking, managing event-specific logistics and updates to Banquet Event Orders while coordinating staffing and catering needs. They also play a critical role in facilitating final walkthroughs, managing wedding rehearsals and acting as lead coordinator on event days.

In addition to managing logistics and client relations, the Event Manager is responsible for staff training and onboarding, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. This role often demands physical stamina as it includes standing and walking for extended periods, outdoor work in various weather conditions, and the ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds. The manager must also proficiently operate POS systems and handle financial transactions with accuracy.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $20.00 and is available for part-time or full-time employment. Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients post-booking regarding event-specific planning and logistics
  • update banquet event orders and create detailed floor plans
  • ensure proper staffing levels for all private events

  • facilitate final walkthroughs and lead event tastings with clients

  • supervise and lead all event staff including bar, safety, and coordinating teams
  • conduct post-event follow-up with clients and vendors

  • provide tasting room service support during off-season
