Job Description

Medic One Foundation is a respected nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting emergency medical services and health education in the community. The foundation is committed to raising funds to enhance the capabilities and resources available to first responders and medical professionals, ultimately aiming to save lives and improve public health outcomes. With a strong presence in Bellevue and the surrounding areas, Medic One Foundation fosters collaboration among community organizations, donors, and volunteers to achieve its mission of promoting excellence in emergency medical care through education and advocacy.

The Annual Giving and Event Manager plays a critical role in driving the foundation’s fundraising efforts and donor engagement through meticulously coordinated campaigns and events. This hands-on position acts as the operational backbone of the Development team, overseeing the execution of all annual giving campaigns including direct mail, email outreach, online initiatives, year-end appeals, and workplace giving programs. This ensures that fundraising efforts are strategically implemented and milestones are consistently met. The role requires close collaboration with the Senior Development Officer and Director of Philanthropy to align event and campaign activities with broader philanthropic goals and community outreach efforts.

In addition to campaign management, the Annual Giving and Event Manager takes charge of the logistics and coordination for all major fundraising and donor engagement events, such as the flagship Lifesavers Gala, donor stewardship gatherings, training experiences, and open houses. Responsibilities include vendor management, contract negotiation, procurement, event setup, and on-site coordination to ensure seamless event execution. The role demands exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently within a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

The Annual Giving and Event Manager also partners with the Donor Services Coordinator to manage data-related needs—pulling segmented lists, tracking event attendance and registrations, as well as supporting campaign reporting and analysis to inform future strategies. Maintaining the annual fundraising calendar and ensuring consistent communication between the Development and Communications teams keeps projects on track and deadlines aligned, further contributing to the foundation’s ongoing success.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $75,000 annually, dependent on experience. It provides a comprehensive benefits package including a 401k match and generous paid time off. The role is based in Bellevue with a requirement to attend occasional meetings and events off-site, necessitating a valid driver’s license and access to transportation. The position also demands flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work to successfully support events and campaigns.

Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, marketing coordination, or event support, with a preference for those who have worked cross-functionally with marketing or communications teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva is essential, while experience with donor databases such as Raiser’s Edge or Greater Giving is advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, are crucial for success. Above all, the candidate must demonstrate a firm commitment to the Medic One Foundation’s mission of enhancing emergency medical response and public health education through effective fundraising and community engagement.
