Fooda is looking for a part-time Event Coordinator for its Hawthorne market, an exciting opportunity for individuals with backgrounds in hospitality or event management who want to broaden their expertise in food service operations. This role is essential in maintaining Fooda’s high standards by ensuring smooth event execution and delivering top-notch customer service. The Event Coordinator will work closely with local restaurants, manage onsite event logistics, and provide real-time support to address any operational issues. Operating within a fast-paced, innovative startup environment, this position demands adaptability, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. Foods role involves being onsite to set up and break down event sites, assist with cashier duties, and facilitate restaurant access to buildings while using Fooda’s proprietary technology and operational procedures.

This part-time role demands 32-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, offering competitive pay between $21 and $25 per hour. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Support Fooda events by setting up, tearing down, and cleaning equipment and site areas onsite
  • Serve as backup cashier at Fooda Cafés during team member absences
  • Facilitate onsite process for restaurants to access buildings and begin service
  • Use Fooda technology and follow standard operating procedures
  • Solve issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, or miscommunication
  • Troubleshoot technical problems with POS systems, onsite technology, and menu boards
  • Conduct Fooda promotions and provide mobile app coaching onsite
  • Deliver real-time customer service to resolve issues directly with consumers
  • Perform audits of restaurant event setups to maintain quality and consistency
  • Escalate significant issues to the Operations Manager promptly
