- Full time management experience in hospitality

Job Duties
- Support and supervise banquet team including captains, food servers, and lead house attendants
- Assist hotel in achieving top box service scores on Meeting Planner surveys
- Ensure communication and understanding of banquet event orders with guests and departments
- Responsible for timely set up of functions and meetings maintaining standards of food, beverage and meeting specifications
- Review staffing and equipment needs proactively
- Coordinate and execute events with Culinary, Stewarding, Catering/CS, CS Floor and Beverage departments
- Maintain high energy, positive, and professional appearance
- Develop innovative and creative decor for banquet function spaces
- Manage short and long term banquet functions in front and back of house
- Facilitate payroll, reports, forecasts, point of sale procedures, inventory and budget for food and beverage functions
- Perform daily walkthroughs to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards
- Develop ideas for special and holiday events
