Position: Water Resources Modeler I, II or III
About: The Division of Water Resources in Utah is seeking an Environmental Scientist (Water Resources Modeler) at different levels (I, II, III) to assist in planning for the state’s future water needs. The role involves supporting water resource planning studies, building surface water models, conducting hydrologic modeling, Great Salt Lake modeling, and developing water demand models.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related field; experience with hydrologic modeling software such as RiverWare, GoldSim, ArcGIS Pro; proficiency in database management and GIS; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
