Position: Trattoria Restaurant Server
About: The Restaurant Server is responsible for identifying the needs of guests and accommodating those needs, serving guests with complete knowledge of the menu, and maintaining a clean and orderly station throughout the shift.
Requirements: Ability to satisfactorily communicate in verbal and written English with guests, management, and co-workers; Prioritize and organize work assignments; Have superb time management skills; Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel services and features; Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations; Minimum 2 years previous experience working as a server in a similar-sized restaurant; Additional certifications (ServSafe, TiPS, etc.) preferred; Ability to understand guests’ service needs & requests; Ability to acknowledge guests’ requests in a polite manner; Ability to address and solve problems involving guest and operational issues; Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
