Position: Sous Chef (“Segundo Chef”)
About: Le Meridien Element Salt Lake City Downtown – Salt Lake City, UT is currently seeking a Chef with extensive culinary experience to oversee food preparation and production for all food outlets and banquet facilities at the resort. The ideal candidate will lead a team to ensure excellent food quality and presentation while maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Requirements: High school or equivalent education required; Minimum of two years of culinary schooling preferred; Five years of prior experience as Chef with knowledge of international and domestic dishes; Extensive knowledge of wine pairing; Certification as Chef or Certified Master Chef by a government accredited culinary agency; Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required
