Position: Sous Chef – Orion’s Roof, Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront
About: A luxury hotel in need of a Sous Chef to oversee the consistent, profitable, and quality production in the kitchen while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. The Sous Chef will play a key role in supervising daily operations and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless service and efficiency in the culinary aspects of the hotel.
Requirements: Culinary Degree preferred; Understanding of restaurant, room service, bar/lounge, and banquet procedures; Knowledge of sanitation requirements and food handling safety standards; Effective decision-making, customer relations, and conflict management skills; Ability to manage labor productivity and inventory controls; Good communication, organization, and change management skills; Experience with financial management including P&L statements and budgeting
