Position: Sous Chef job
About: Vinson Hall Retirement Community (VHRC), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community located in McLean, VA, is seeking an energetic team player to join as an experienced Sous Chef. The primary responsibilities for this position include operational oversight of the culinary program and multiple dining venues, menu development, quality assurance, inventory management, team development, production planning, sanitation & compliance, budget management, record-keeping, and participation in special functions and holiday menu planning.
Requirements: Experience as a Sous Chef in a culinary setting; strong operational and menu development skills; ability to manage inventory effectively; experience in team development and training; knowledge of budget management and record-keeping practices
