About: The Assistant General Restaurant Manager assists the Restaurant General Manager with the overall activities of the restaurant operation, including prep and service. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, establishing training programs, administering controls for profitability, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service, monitoring safety procedures, handling customer complaints, budgeting, and personnel management. The position requires effective communication, previous experience in a high-volume establishment, ability to analyze data, flexibility in shifts, and proficiency in computer programs. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks under time constraints, managing high business volumes, and addressing sensitive staff and guest issues promptly.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; previous work experience in a high-caliber chef-driven property; experience in a high-volume establishment with strong food and beverage knowledge; ability to analyze data for reports; flexibility to work various shifts; knowledge of computer programs including Word, Excel, Windows, and LMS
