Position: Mgr-Sous Chef

About: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a Mgr-Sous Chef to be responsible for the overall success of the food program and managing culinary functions. This position supports the Executive Chef in all aspects of management, menu planning, food production, customer service, and regulatory standards. The role involves leading, motivating, training, and effective communication with all staff members to ensure compliance and high-quality service. The Mgr-Sous Chef also champions staff engagement to meet departmental standards and goals at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Requirements: Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or equivalent certification through the American Culinary Federation (ACF) preferred; Five (5) years of progressively responsible food service experience, including three (3) years of management experience and two (2) years of experience in food preparation as a cook/chef required; ServeSafe Manager or other ANSI approved Manager Certification required within six (6) months of hire date
